Fall in Vermont is always beautiful, and if my Facebook feed is any indication, this year it has been particularly breathtaking. We've been missing a few of our fall traditions: apple picking and the subsequent apple sauce making and apple pie eating, leaf peeping, and our annual run through the corn maze. This year we will have to buy our apples at the store and probably won't make any applesauce. Instead of gazing at rolling hills ablaze with fall foliage we will have to make due with the multihued tiles sparkling on the undulating roof of Mercat Sant Caterina. And instead of wandering through Mazza's Corn Maze searching for the next station where we can stamp our passport, we tackled the maze at the Parc del Laberint d'Horta. I think we'll survive. |
